    I have been really impressed with the Scalp and Hair Serum. After using it consistently for a few weeks I can honestly say it has made a noticeable difference in how my scalp and hair feel. The formula is very lightweight and absorbs quickly which makes it perfect for a leave in treatment because it does not leave any greasy or heavy residue. I can apply it easily to my scalp and it blends in smoothly without weighing my hair down. One of the first things I noticed was how balanced and refreshed my scalp felt after regular use. It feels soothing and helps my scalp feel healthier which is something I was really hoping for. The inclusion of azelaic acid is a great addition because it helps support a healthier scalp environment which is important for stronger and fuller looking hair. Over time my hair has started to look thicker and healthier and it feels stronger when styling. I also appreciate that it works well with my other hair products and fits easily into my routine. The bottle is a nice size and a little product goes a long way so it should last quite a while. Overall this serum feels like a high quality treatment that truly supports scalp health and helps improve the appearance of fuller hair.     I've used quite a few products from Redken over the years and generally have good experiences with the brand, so I was curious to try this one. This is a lightweight leave-in scalp and hair serum that uses azelaic acid and is intended to support a healthier scalp and fuller-looking hair.

    Application is simple. The pump sprayer works like you'd expect and you only need a few sprays to cover your hair and scalp, so a little goes a long way. I use it after showering and just leave it in. It spreads easily through the hair without feeling greasy or heavy.

    One thing I noticed right away is that it actually helps my hair hold its style pretty well. In many cases this has been the only product I've needed after getting out of the shower. It gives a bit of structure without feeling like a styling gel or mousse.

    The scent is pleasant too. It's clean with a light herbal note that fits the whole scalp-care theme, and it doesn't linger in an overpowering way.

    As for results, it seems to be doing what it's supposed to do in terms of making my hair feel healthier and look a bit fuller. I want to be careful not to overstate anything here, but it does appear to support a healthier scalp and better-looking hair overall based on my experience using it as part of my regular routine.

    My only real hesitation is the price. At around $46 for a 3.38 oz bottle it definitely falls into the premium category. The bottle does last longer than I expected because you don't need much per use, but it's still something I'd have to think about before getting again at that price.

    Overall, I like how it performs and how easy it is to use. It fits nicely into a daily routine and feels like a quality product. The cost is really the only reason I landed on four stars instead of five.

    I just recently received this item, but I’ve tried it and I feel like I had to do a review. What you receive with this product is the Redken Fifth Avenue scalp and hair serum. The bottle has 3.4 fluid ounces of serum that says it is 5% strength complex. The bottle is a pump style and easy to dispense. The serum actually comes out looking sort of like a foam that is very lightweight and easy to apply to the roots. You rub it into your scalp and it absorbs quickly. The directions say that you apply this after washing your hair and before styling it. I have thinning hair, as I am 53 years old and I think that’s just a part of aging. It concerns me, so I have tried several different products. My complaint is often that things make my hair greasy, and that’s just not gonna work. For this product, I already can tell that I at least like the application process and the way it feels in my hair. It is not greasy at all, nor is it sticky or tacky. Once I rub this into the roots of my hair, I can dry my hair perfectly fine and style it without problems. It does not affect anything about my hair texture or manageability. It also has no scent, which is another plus for me. Although I can’t make a good assessment at this time as to how well it works for hair growth, I can say that I appreciate the fact that I can, in fact, use it and give it a proper chance. This product is made to be undetectable and can be used all day or at any time.
